How It Started

The Magick Muse is a project my husband and I created together to make witchcraft knowledge more organized, accessible, and searchable for modern practitioners. I handle the research and content, while he manages the technical development and design so the project can grow into a structured and user-friendly resource.

While I've been calling myself a witch for about a decade, the women in my family have been reading tarot and practicing small, everyday forms of spellwork for as long as I can remember. Growing up around those traditions shaped my interest in the craft long before I began studying it more deeply on my own. My personal practice is rooted in plant work, herbs, candles, tarot, runes, and crystals, with a strong focus on protection magick for both personal and collective well-being.

Building The Manuscript System

What began as my personal grimoire slowly evolved into something much larger. I'm autistic, and this work quickly became a deep special interest. Because of the way my brain works, I needed to see how different aspects of magick connect and interact in order to fully understand them. The Magick Manuscript was built to reflect those relationships through careful organization and cross-referencing, which is why you'll notice a high level of detail, structure, and interconnected entries throughout the grimoire. Each entry is part of a system designed to help practitioners find information quickly and understand how different aspects of magick relate to one another.

As a teacher so sharing what I know is only natural to me. I wanted to create a living library that feels both scholarly and practical. For years I found myself digging through stacks of books trying to remember which book and which page held the information I needed. Being able to press Ctrl+F in my own grimoire instead of flipping through dozens of pages became a huge advantage, especially during rituals and spellwork.

Research Commitment

All information within the Magick Manuscript is researched and compiled from reputable published sources, primarily books written by established authors and scholars within the fields of witchcraft, folklore, and occult studies. The goal is to preserve the depth and reliability of traditional research while making it easier to access in a modern, searchable format.

Growth And Community

When I first shared a glimpse of this grimoire online, the response from the community was overwhelming. That encouragement inspired us to expand the project and open it to others. Since sharing the Manuscript publicly, I have already made over one hundred thousand updates, additions, and refinements in the first six months alone as new information and insights are incorporated. My hope is that this living grimoire continues to grow and evolve while remaining a useful resource for everyone who chooses to explore it.

Today, the Magick Muse continues to grow as a living resource for research, practice, and community learning.

What The Ecosystem Includes

My goal is simple: to make magickal knowledge easier to explore, more organized, and accessible to anyone seeking to deepen their practice while remaining grounded in well-researched, reputable sources and authentic traditions.

Blessed Be,
The Magick Muse
